Kiln Dried Poplar is used in all our painted shutters. We also manufacturer shutters in an assortment of fine grain woods.

Canadian Prairie Poplar hardwood, resists warping and shrinking, and reduces the chance of sagging in large panels. Its uniform grain pattern provides a smooth surface that allows us to apply our furniture quality finish.

Our standard colors are white and off-white (Ben Moore CC-40 or 967) or we can match any other color as required.

We use only nylon pins to pivot the louvers

Nylon pins eliminate the problem of shrinking, swelling and wear with movement associated with using wood dowels on the louvers. This allows the louvers to move easily. The nylon pins also have a spacer, providing uniform clearance between louver and stile, and prevents wear with operation.
